http://fav4.org/ - is a new startup with an amazing & simple idea: it's your browser's homepage. That's it.
The default view offers Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Gmail, but you can click the "site settings" link at the bottom and add/remove your most used sites from the list.
P.S. I still prefer to have Google.com as my homepage, but the idea is great.

Do you actually use browser homepage?!
Yep, I do. My homepage is Google. Its great to open a browser and start typing right away (Google has autofocus for its query box).
I'm a Chrome user and actually I can do the same (through search in address bar) while receiving additional functionality of chrome top visited sites thumbnail page.
May be worth a try ;)
I LOVE Chrome! But there's no Google Toolbar for it :) (ridiculous!)
